Since February 2013 I’ve been listening to your radio programs and using your monthly prayer calendar. These are a great blessing to me. Here in this part of Iran, we do not have any access to biblical resources.” (A Farsi speaker in Iran)

Please pray for women who are in the midst of many life challenges but still choose to help others struggling with poverty, family problems, community turmoil or cultural barriers. “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality” (Romans 12:12-13).

Please pray for Project Women's Health’s Women of Hope production teams as they provide programs in more than 65 languages. Pray for women who visit listeners or respond to letters, emails, text messages, etc., giving these audience members further guidance about living a Christ-like life under enormously difficult circumstances.

Please pray for women who provide skills training, medical exams, legal advice, and pastoral care to women in poverty or who are new to a country. “With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith” (2 Thessalonians 1:11).

Please pray for women listening to the Women of Hope programs, visiting a Hannah’s House or participating in a prayer group. Ask the Lord to move in their hearts so that they understand the truths of the gospel and experience a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one cometh unto the Father, except through me’” (John 14:6).

Please pray for women facing very difficult circumstances like poverty, unemployment, domestic violence, divorce, promiscuity, prostitution, and HIV/AIDS. Pray that God will give them the courage to follow the pathway of faith, not the path of fear. “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline” (2 Timothy 1:7).

Please pray for women to pray regularly and not lose heart, realizing that our prayers do make a difference. Praise the Lord for listeners in Mali who have called a radio station to report that they and others have accepted God’s gift of salvation.

Please pray for Women of Hope programs to encourage women who have lost hope; to strengthen women who feel weak; to lift up the fallen; to challenge the healthy to help those who need assistance; to inspire all the listeners to walk closely with the Lord; and to remind the isolated believer that she is not alone.

Please pray for women who have been abandoned by their husbands, asking God to show them that he loves them and accepts them as his precious daughters. Pray that they would receive hope and joy through a close relationship with God and other Christian women. “And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us” (Romans 5:2-5).

Please pray for women with physical handicaps to experience hope and all God’s possibilities as they serve him with joy. “That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:10).

Please pray for women to be willing to change their priorities, schedules, relationships and anything else that hinders them from following God’s will. “Show me your way, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long” (Psalm 25:4-5).

Please pray for women affected by war or devastating diseases to experience the peace that only God can give. “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” (John 14:27).

Please pray for prisoners and those working in prisons to know that God loves them and desires that they invite Christ into their lives. Praise God for the female inmates at the Monrovia Centre Prison in Liberia who have given their lives to Christ. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

Please pray for women to spend more time getting to know God’s thoughts, character, and ways by studying his Word. Pray that as they learn more about God, they will care about the things he cares about, grieve over the things he grieves over, and rejoice over the things that bring pleasure to him.

Please pray for those reaching out to widows in Albania, Cambodia, Kenya, Tanzania, and other countries, helping these women start small businesses so they can earn money to support themselves and their children. Pray that these widows will understand more practically God’s love, hope, and provision. Praise the Lord for the widows who met in TWR’s Nairobi, Kenya, offices and now testify about the emotional healing they experienced after the sharing and fellowship with our staff. They appreciated the opportunity to know that they are not alone.

“We are listening to your program in a group. As you know, there is no church in our place. We hear God’s word from your program only. We are encouraged and blessed by your program, especially the spiritual part. Please pray for us to live in grace and to receive God’s wisdom to expand God’s kingdom here.
